    Auto moderation and welcome message helps you handle Telegram join requests automatically. When a user applies to join a group or channel, Askify AI Bot can send a welcome message, optionally ask the user to complete a verification code in private chat, and then approve the join request after the user passes.

    What it does

    • Handles users while they are still in the join request stage
    • Sends the configured welcome message to the applicant in private chat
    • Can approve the join request directly
    • Can require a letter image verification before approval
    • Can send failed verification cases to the admin review queue instead of declining them

    Requirements

    Before enabling this feature, make sure the group or channel invite link has Request admin approval enabled. This allows Telegram to send join requests to the bot.

    The bot must also be an administrator in the group or channel and have permission to approve join requests.

    Verification modes

    You can choose how join requests are handled:

    • Direct approve: the bot sends the welcome message and approves the join request automatically.
    • Letter image verification: the bot sends a captcha image and answer buttons to the applicant in private chat. If the user chooses the correct code, the bot approves the join request and sends the welcome message.

    Failed verification handling

    For letter image verification, you can configure what happens after the user fails too many times or the bot cannot send the verification message:

    • Send to admin queue: keep the join request waiting for manual administrator review. This is the default option.
    • Decline request: reject the join request automatically.

    How to use

    1. Open the Mini App from Askify AI Bot.
    2. Go to Manage groups and channels.
    3. Select the target group or channel.
    4. Open Auto moderation and welcome message.
    5. Enable the module and enter the welcome message.
    6. Choose the join request handling mode.
    7. Save the settings.

    Notes

    • The applicant does not need to start the bot first. Telegram allows the bot to message the applicant during the join request flow.
    • If verification is enabled and the user passes, the bot approves the join request with Telegram's standard approval flow.
